Our foundation

Established in 1964, in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, LA Mills is a weaver of jacquard and dobby textiles supplying upholstery and drapery fabrics to the residential and contract markets. Currently owned and operated by Clay McLaurin and Todd Piercy of McLaurin & Piercy, LA Mills is a third generation textile manufacturer embracing American craftsmanship in California.

LA Mills specializes in various qualities and constructions for the interiors trade. We consider ourselves an art driven and highly specialized mill with the ability to create custom warps and constructions. Using 20th century looms we weave a variety of qualities including leno draperies, sheers, heavy weight upholstery and light weight upholstery fabrics.
